Black Eyes Gallery is a submission-based photography & fine-art gallery in the heart of Tucson's art scene. We also curate artist shows, sell work by local makers, and host community events. Our mission is to provide a space for artists where your art can be seen and engaged with, in an experience that is both accessible and elevated.

Our Team
Douglas Fur
Founder & Creative Art Director
Douglas Fur is a nationally exhibited artist and photographer based in Tucson, Arizona, with 15 years of photography experience.
He graduated with his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in 2006. For the past two years, he has worked for Decode Gallery in Tucson’s Barrio Viejo neighborhood and is the current Artist Liaison and Gallery Manager for Tucson Erotica. Douglas is passionate about helping artists connect with other artists, buyers, and industry professionals.
Founder & CEO
Jaime Navarro
Jaime Navarro is a businesswoman and artist with over 20 years of experience growing companies. She graduated in 2006 with her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts. Then, in 2024, she earned her Master of Business Administration from The University of Arizona, Eller School of Business.
She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and artists in their business. As CEO, her role is to ensure the health of BlackEyes Gallery so it can continue to fulfill its mission and vision for the community.
